This is me on my first trip after taking my business full-time: First stop Milan, Italy 😍
If you don’t know me yet: I’m Marina, a translator turned barista turned business manager.
And now that I took my online business full-time I can add Virtual Assistant as my latest job title 🥳
But let’s backtrack a little: Like so many others, my entrepreneurship story started when I was working a 9-5 that I absolutely hated. I decided to quit my job and pursue my dream of working and living like a Digital Nomad.
In the early days of my Digital Nomad life, I started working at a cafe to pay the bills and buy some time to figure out how to start my own business.
The cafe owner was handling every part of the business on his own, so I offered to help with some of the more administrative tasks like email management and employee onboarding. Little by little, I stepped into an assistant role and then finally into a business manager role and I loved it.
With my help, the cafe owner had significantly more time and peace of mind which allowed him to start another business and enjoy more time off with his family.
That experience showed me how overwhelming running a business can be, and I realised that business owners need to spend less time working on all those backend tasks and more time creating and building the business and life of their dreams.
So when I heard of virtual assistance, I knew it was the right path for me: a job that fills me with purpose, that allows me to work with amazing people, take advantage of the experience I gained as a business manager and to travel at the same time. And that’s how elemarstudio was born!
I’m so excited for everything that’s to come, and thrilled to keep supporting my amazing clients in building the businesses of their dreams and realise their versions of success. ♥️
